Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Gate Pa School, 900 Cameron Rd, Tauranga from 11.00 am on each of these days during school terms. Time is about an hour each day to oversee students working in their school garden or kitchen. Students are currently years 9 and 10. They spend one term swapping between their garden and kitchen, learning to grow, look after and then cook product from this garden. Rotary volunteers assist on these days, overseeing and helping students in either their garden or kitchen. Closed in shoes required, suggest bringing your own gardening gloves, raincoat/ jacket.
