13 - 14 August 2022, students from the regions secondary schools visit to talk with exhibitors about their career options.
Tertiary to Trades training opportunities, as well as careers in the region’s leading businesses, were on show at the annual Canvas Tauranga Careers Expo last weekend.
Hosted by The Rotary Club of Tauranga, and Priority One, the Expo had a comprehensive showcase of employment and training opportunities on offer under one roof.
The Rotary Club of Tauranga organiser, Sue Boyne, said that the Expo allows students and the public attending to get some clarity on their dream career.
This year, more than 60 exhibitors presented to the 3,ooo students from the region’s schools, and to the 2,000 adults considering upskilling or a change in careers over the two days.
